Samuel.....the RNZAF is "trucking" on? Surely the fish-heads may take exception? Perhaps the RNZAF is in fact "hovering"?

RNZN complaining about loss of capability/training since the loss of the Macchis/A4s, Army (particularly SAS who are heavily involved in the good stuff going on around the world) and crying out for CAIRS and FAC training....(which in the real world beyond Helens beaches/foreshores - is essential)

Skyhawk sale not happening because of change of CEO (in US company that was to buy them)........ Macchi sale to Malaysia also kaput after change of PM. No t-bird A4 left serviceable to demo to prospective buyers anyway..........and sole qualified A4 pilot is in fact a university student!

If Helen and her lunatic crowd do not win this election, I suspect the Macchi may rise from the ashes in at least a limited capacity similar to the RAAF use of the PC9.

Fingers crossed!

Unfortunately the RAAF doesn't have a full time OPSO type category. The reserve have an OPSO category. Those guys though can do a max of 100 days a year.

The RAAF doesn't have anyone to get your notams for you / flight plan etc. The crew must do it themselves.
