Hercules emergency landing

Fat Albert had to make an emergency landing in NewFoundland, Canada whilst en-route to Arizona. The flight deck filled with smoke, the crew donned oxygen masks and landed successfully.

No further details yet, no one hurt.

edited to add more info.....

Saturday 13 Mar, RAF Hercules took off from St Johns International Airport in NewFoundland en-route Arizona. At approximately 1300 EST the flight deck filled with smoke, an emergency was declared and the aircraft recovered to St Johns International where it landed without incident. The crew had to don oxygen masks. The cause is not known and aircraft continued on its way later in the day.

Been stopping in St Johns?

Must have been an OCU crew!

Glad to hear that all turned out well though.

No joke really but.........I had a similar problem in a Hastings at Colerne a few years ago doing MCT; the last QM had left two sausages in the water boiler!

Talking

I'm trying to remember the name of the gorgeous red head that worked for the handling agent at St Johns a while back. Fresh coffee, muffins and a night out down town.
What service!!!
