The mumblings of Edward Sparkes
I was searching the web for work (no really…) and found this http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/sparkes/contents.htm
It contains the diaries of an RAF officer, Flt Lt E D S N Sparkes, “my experience of air war was played out in a very small theatre, The Arakan, Burma, with the Indian Airforce, fighting with the forgotten IVth Army”.
I’ve just started looking through it, then thought I’d post it on Pprune.
And get on with work.
The search I was carrying out was to find details of a cataloguing company, this came up near the top on Google

Another page from his website. Nothing much changes then.

Thanks for that link you two, I'm slowly getting through the site with interest as my grandfather was Staish at Bombay and Madras during the war. While grandma was getting bombed in London...and getting an extra portion from the butcher!
(I'm not really related to Sir Peter Harding...or the butcher)
Note the new thread on P O Prune - credit to you for finding it!
