Black Adder. The best sitcom ever
Just watching that dire "Best Sitcom ever" stuff on BBC2...
BUT...
Blackadder is up this week and they've been recollecting THAT final scene of Blackadder Goes Forth and commented on things like the mood in the studio and the audience reaction when they were filming it.
For this scene alone and all it represented I hope it wins.

Blackadder Goes Fo(u)rth has got to be the best. The last episode is also very moving. I'm a great fan, particularly of Melchett and his "outer office". It's a worrying fact that my 8 year old daughter occasionally trots out lines like "Yes, Pratt at the back" or "Oh, Mr Thicko, fancy not knowing that" and so on. The Private Plane episode must have been written with considerable help from Service personnel as the humour is spot on -either that or perhaps we are all stereotyped already!

Soz but whilst i agree that BA goes forth was good, you cannot compare the excellence of the Trotter brothers. The classic inappropriate French phrases, the fact that we all know a 'Trigger' and the feel good factor when you watch an episode fair cheers I up. Not to mention the falling through the bar scene!!!!
