Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

Mentally taxing? Sorry old chap, don't quite follow! I was just seen to drink gin and tonic with the odd gin and tonic chaser in front of ones flt cdr and that seemed to do the trick. Others have mentioned that they read 'quality broadsheets' and the like but don't quote me. As far as I'm aware though the big training review in 2000ish by Halton and Doris came to the conclusion that it was unfair to assume any prior learning on any training course and that they have to start from scratch. I'd suggest Tuts that if you've passed the tests and got your date that you are intellectual enough! Good luck!
