Civilian H licence question

I'm an Army Helicopter Pilot that loves the flying part but now no longer enjoy the soldiering part, Having taken myself off a few years ago to gain a UK CPL(H) i am now looking to upgrade to a JAR ATPL so i can begin job hunting. I've studied the Lasors site, but am still clueless, can anyone help with what i need? I'm also looking at getting an IR, does a Military pilot with twin turbine time, tacan, green rating count towards any dispensations? lastly can anybody offer me a job?......

Cheers.

Are you after an ATPL(A) or an ATPL(H)?

How many total military hours do you have?

How many as PI, Pu/t, P2 on military helicopters?

Are you still current? If so, on what type?

Regrettably, there is no direct route to a JAR-FCL ATPL(H); see LASORS section G4.

The very best of luck to you!

The first answer is ..... Yes, you will get some dispensations. The bad news is that to hold a JAR ATPL, (I believe) that you must be tested on a multi crew aircraft. My CAA ATPL H will be renewed as a CPL in 4 years time because EC135 is a single pilot ac, as is Lynx. That said, write to the CAA, they will tell you what you need without all this speculation.
