Cold War QRA's
After spending some quality time on the Vulcan thread, I decided to open the floor and find out if anybody had any dits on Cold War QRA's? What kind of aircraft did the Russkies send over etc.....And what was the best QRA a/c..Lightning, F4, F3???

Iceland Faeroes Gap on a quiet Sunday afternoon (around tea time)
Dramitis Personae - Saxa Vord; Anyface (Shackleton); Tanker (Victor K2) and Cuetip 01 (F4)
Saxa: Cuetip you are clear to RTB the Zombie has turned around.
Cuetip: But we've only just got here.
Anyface: What about us Saxa?
Saxa: You can go home too; in fact everyone can go home.
Tanker: Saxa can you ask around and see if anyone wants 60 thousand pounds of gas I'm not allowed to dump it.
Anyface: And while you're at it ask if anyone wants 19 steaks; 38 doughnuts; a chicken curry.
Saxa: Very droll Anyface I've passed the following ETAs to your homeplates: Cuetip down in half an hour and Leuchars say they'll put the kettle on; Tanker ETA for Marham in 2 hours they'll keep dinner hot; Anyface, Lossie expect you in time for breakfast.
