If innocent then why run?

the way the current CPS is going they will not take anything but a superairtight case to court. draw your own conclusions.

I submit the guilty ran away because he knew he would go down and be given much displeasure at her majesty's pleasure.

He may well be guilty, but that is for a Jury to decide - NOT YOU. To describe the Accused as a "thieving pikey toe rag" on a public forum could be considered prejudicial to his chances of a fair trial. It is possible that it could be read as subverting the course of Justice.

The Nazi's treated gypsies with the same sort of contempt as you appear to do; they murdered millions of them alongside the Jews as "Undesirables". This thread is here to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms - not for you to air your prejudices.

Oh dry your eyes princess. Am I or am I not allowed to express an opinion?

I think we should take this somewhere a little more private......

Back To Topic I just caught a programme on the digibox about the VC, who was on it?

Johnson Beharry VC, humble courteous and professional.

There are many more heroes out there, keep supporting them

I'm with c-s on this one, given the despicable nature of the crime, and the level of revulsion felt by the local populace towards the who committed it.

"Thieving pikey toe rag" is one of the mildest epithets that comes to mind.

I'm sure he will be comforted by your defence of his 'innocence'.

Having grown up in Jannertown aka Guz aka Plymouth, i spent many a youthful day on the Hoe, either for leisure or helping support RAFA as a cadet..!! In fact only recently i was back there, visiting family...

I took time out to walk around all the Memorials , i'm not predjudiced towards any service at these times...my visit took in all the memorials for those who made the ultimate sacrifice...!!

However, if "the thieving pikey scum was brave enough" to "nick" these plaques whilst in the full glare of me, he would certainly have seen the bottom of a size 8 !!! cuz theats where these scum belong...!!

If the Greenpeace / Shami Chakribati / do gooder merchant above had an ounce of RESPECT...!! you would appreciate the sentiments from those who have served and are serving this country so proudly..!!

If you have a problem with something that has made the press and is in the public domain, get over it..!! A fair trial.. my arse !! the Bar Steward is guilty !!

Maybe we should track him down and "tombstone" him from Plymouth Hoe !!
Then he wont be so effing cocky with broken legs !!

Cazatou

Do I sense the presence of a 'wooden spoon' or any other 'motion inducing' device in your last few posts?

Now, now

Having just read this thread from post 1, I am sitting here with the tears welling in my eyes.

It is great to know that they are not forgotten and hopefully never will be.

To all the lads and lasses in the hot places, stay safe.

Mods,
I guess it's about time that our annual request for stickiness was forwarded.

The WWII generation is now thin on the ground. My RAAF mates from that era are all dealing with the effects of aging either on their own bodies, or on their nearest and dearest. We haven't much time left to honour them, let's make sure they are fully aware that some don't forget.

Regards
Gru
