current RAF ops in the Balkans

hi, does anyone know to what extent the RAF is involved in Bosnia and Kosovo at the moment? I'm trying to brush up my knowledge of current deployments for a commission interview, and the RAF website's a bit sketchy, particularly on Kosovo. Cheers for any help

From what I understand mate, a small number of freaky Merlins from 28(AC) Sqn, are based at the metal-factory in Banja Luka, Republika Srpska, Bosnia-Herzegovina.

I think this is the RAF's contribution to Op Oculus, (the UK task force in the Balkans.

Op Agricola (intervention in Kosovo) is now finished (I believe).

Don't forget the monthly Exchange Officer tax fiddle run which goes to Banja, Pristina, nightstop that place in Italy with the gorgeous handling agent lady, and then reverse the route for home!

From my understanding, the UK's support helicopter commitment to SFOR in Bosnia will rotate between the freaky Merlins, plastic Pumas and salty Sea Queens.

The Chinook force is far too busy employing its far superior MAUW in the Middle East, where it can actually fly hot and high.
