Thank You SAR Boys

Please pass on thanks and appreciation to the SAR Boys, (from lossie I believe) who on Sunday
afternoon lifted a very badly injured lady from An Caisteal near Crainlarich.

My colleagues, who were with her, are full of admiration for the skill shown by the crew
but especially the winch man for his calm and professional manner in treating the cass.

Your fan club has grown

Keep up the good work and nice to see a team that works

navy blue

I'll pass your words on to the winchman, or Aircrewman, as the Navy lads prefer to call themselves. The cab was out of Prestwick.

Mad_Mark, I thought Chipmunk was referring to the injured lady and her group.

Perhaps in your haste to say something clever you weren't reading too well. Do you always find something to cavil about when compliments are being paid?

Thumbs up

pressganged - many thanks, folk on the ground were informed the cab was from Lossie.
Grateful if this could be confirmed. As the group wish to make a donation to either the unit or
a charity of units choice.

fobotcso - Spot on. I've always been their biggest fan

I believe the cas in this incident sustained an extremely bad C -spine injury after a 200 foot fall (plus a pneumothorax). The colour of the Sea King would end any doubt, if it was Grey and Red then it was from HMS Gannet at Prestwick. From the boss our sponsored charity is Malcolm Sargent.
