Rostering apps can be painful. I'll wager there's a 'block date range' function somewhere.

Otherwise they inevitably attract the 'nothing ventured, nothing gained' type as they try and make the most ludicrous swaps possible.

I have made it a sticky. I will watch how it goes.

Spot on. Go ahead and send the request. I've gotten BKK for MAN -maybe they guy had a broad up there. Fine to add a quick request to accept or reject so you can plan, but save the sob story. That's cabin crew nonsense.

It has to be worth it for both parties. If I've screwed up and I need a day off then "please do me a favour and do my job for me" isn't enough unless its a really popular destination. I'll usually offer double in return.
