emirates application

I was also in the same situation.
I put "0"hours then tried to proceed to next step,
but fill in the last day of flight and firstday of flight? in the red letters
message appeared.so I couldn't proceed to next step.

xkred27 20th September 2009 05:40

You want to fly wide body aircraft here, yet you can't even fill out the application!

YEA RIGHT, the two are directly interconnected. NOT!

Thats what happens when you let Indians write, design
or operate "anything" with a computer involved. Lots and
lots of anomalies. :}

PorkKnuckle 20th September 2009 09:04

I was nodding in agreement with xkred and then..... I read Duh's reply. Tis true, it looks like you've been jinglied (again...) and you're not even here yet!!

INLAK 20th September 2009 10:41

I had the same problem. Submitted it anyway and got a reply a few days later saying I had been short listed.

trimotor 20th September 2009 11:13

Get used to it...

atiuta 20th September 2009 13:15

Unfortunately we live in an e-society. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. In Dubai, it's usually the latter.

The EK application is not meant to be a screening device, but ironically it is. Any employer will start assessing from the first piece of evidence they receive, i.e. the application form. There are many solutions to the issues mentioned above without asking here.

Duh. Actually, there is a connection.

trimotor. Couldn't agree more.

which aircraft are you rated on?

INLAK 20th September 2009 16:36

I'm A330 rated.

Asianlonghaul 21st September 2009 13:55

Why waste your time. If you pass you will wait 18 months in the holding pool then you will be told to re apply. If you get in it will be 7 years to a command!

Visual Procedures 21st September 2009 18:19

7 Years?

Someone tell 'im he's dreamin' :ok:

Dear Sirs:

:rolleyes:I have an ATPL and three type ratings. 6000+ hours with 2000+ Learjet EFIS experience. Currently commanding a Saab 340 in the Bahamas. Just submitted my application to EK. Do you think I will get an invite?

Obbie 4th October 2009 20:56

Not for quite some time........

peternowell 5th October 2009 13:56

Interview

I am a prospective interviewee for Emirates Group. Just completed the on-line application. I have 6000+ TT, 4000 Jet and am currently commanding a Saab 340. Do you guys think I would be considered for a screening in Dubai.

Cheers!
Freeport Pete:cool:

yada.yada.yada 6th October 2009 12:41

Obbie answered your question already. Or is that not what you want to hear?

SOPS 6th October 2009 12:56

Pilots Interested In EK....

Not wanting to sound rhetorical here...but we all know that EK is actively recruiting pilots at this time. So, therefore, when all of the "interested" pilots write into the forum, particularly in the last 12 months or so, asking about the terms and conditions at EK, don't they all realize one thing...........

Look at the number of negative posts reference EK recently...Surely that must tell you something??

So, if you don't want to read "opinionated", "disgruntled" pilots then fine....but take note of the number of negative EK posts recently and let that be your guide.

freddi16 10th October 2009 11:29

ek

HI guys, despite the negative post regarding ek,how many ek pilots send there post in pprune? 1% 2%?
all the others are unhappy there?

cheers

SOPS 10th October 2009 11:54

I cannot believe the above question was just asked......
