Hey jmc08, I’m curious to know what did you decide on doing???

CFM56-7B 6th October 2008 02:16

100000$?! Are you crazy?!

I tought that Eaglejet was the rock bottom of the category but eventually we have a new winner!

Don't you respect yourself as pilots and as men even a little bit?

This is only for mindless rich kids. I'm disgusted from Eaglejet too but it still makes some sense in its perverted logic... but this Jordan one!

Being an airline pilot is a nice cool job but is not the best thing you can do with your life if you are so crazy and made of money to even consider this s***t!

You are willing to fly to some of the most dangerous areas of the world paying the money that a regular guys makes in years, to be a prick F/O in some (allegedly) piece of crap 737?!

And you are also totally f***ing the market. Once they reach the final number of crews they need, why not to fire those that they are paying and hiring some new PPs (paying pilots - or paying pricks?). This s***t is coming also to Europe thanks to Eaglejet!

Really, play the stock market with that money, expecially right now. It would be far less risky and would look much more like a real job. You would even have some chance the gain something from it. Something that you would never have with this kind of fake pilot job!

JMC

Did you take the job offer on the 767?
I have been offered a F/O position on the 767 and am considering going.
I'm already TR and have time on type.
Has anyone already started on the 767 got any feedback?

HFS:ok:

to u

who would be smart enough to sign 100.000 usd as a bond for 5 years this means u have to comply with any order given to u otherwise u wanna leave u pay:confused:

mavrik777 29th October 2008 21:51

coolio

think a million time b4 considering any offer:=

PosClimb 30th October 2008 11:16

So you have to pay them $50,000 cash, and have $50,000 deducted from your meager salary.

What happens if the company goes bust?

Do you get your $50,000 back?

Also, what happens when another pilot signs up whose willing to give them another $50,000?

Very, very, very risky.

And if they're this cheap with the pilots, you can only imagine what's going on in the maintenance department.

Jordan Aviation

I just got an email from Jordan Aviation (767), however I am a A320 Capt in the US, (should say, "was"), UNEMPLOYED!!, I don't nee to build time, but I do need a job ASAP. (mortgage/Bills!!).
Have not been offer anything yet, but would like to educate myself in order to know if I should pursue it, and not let them take advantage of my situation.
Any comments?, advises?, specially someone working there as A320 Capt.
So far what I read in the comments even going all the way back to 2005, it sucks!.
Thanks in advance.

I also applied to Gulf Air, but I seem to have a problem uploaing my personal docs, they have a very limited KB for them, wrote to their help desk, but might as well forget about it, no one responds.
Any one knows an email for their hr/pilot recruitment, (other then the website)?

Yes I have... run as fast as you can away from these people! I know a lot of us are desperate, but in the end you will lose with these people. They are not honest! Why else do they need you right away even though they are parking airplanes.... people are leaving and as fast as they can. Protect your lic. and stay away from them.

Akitakona 16th January 2010 15:33

They are dishonest and fly illegally. That is why they always need new guys in an economy that doesn't! Get the picture?

Samiadam 16th February 2010 05:29

Hello All,

Wake up big managers. Look what you have done. Many initial FOs who you have took 110 K are still sitting at home. No plans, No communications, No salaries. Shrinking Fleet. I personally passed and took the right decision in moving to Royal Jordanian and good luck to all of you in gaining your 500 hrs in about 5 years.

I would sit down and take a deep breath mate, and think about it, sooner than later, the economy will improve and you will not have to sign up to something so bad that you WILL REGRET later.

Cheers

You Are Mad!

I will announce you officially MAD if you do such thing! Please have some common sense, and for what? to fly -300! give me a break man!

flylion 21st February 2011 08:54

JAV

To all potential joiners for JAV...

I can only very strongly recommend NOT to join, whatever conditions are offered, whatever conditions are promised!

I worked with them for 2 yrs and still have money to get.

Even for initios there are better (and cheaper- if you could say so) offers available, pls do not support JAV or its "training facilities".

JATE

Myself, as well as every former JATE pilot I know, has never recieved the full compensation per contract. When presented with a contract that contained a $20k USD bond through a third company, I asked if the "BIG GUY" would agree to the same bond for JATE if they were late in paying me the full amount of my salary on time.

The guy "BIG GUY" went off his rocker. I left and never looked back. Smart move.

IN BOX 13th March 2011 22:55

Pay this amount for how many hours of flight:hmm:

StoneColdCloggie 1st May 2011 18:20

Insane, go elsewhere

Just like to warn colleagues again as Jordan Aviation seems to be trying to fill their gaps again.

Flying for these criminals mean putting you life and good reputation at risk, a part from your financial situation.

Should decide on the training program, look a bit further. If you really want to spend that money, spend half and get double elsewhere.

latetonite 2nd May 2011 05:03

Jordanianpilot,

This is exactly what Jordan Aviation is looking for. You are the type of guy they eat raw.You are heading for the fuchsia zone on your radar screen.
