Aren't they asking for too much? For an airline with such messy salaries, how do they expect to attract people?

If you are interested in NAS, I suggest you check put http://www.hasher.net/Riyadh/Riyadh.htm

DO I have to read all that ?

Depends how serious you are Hakeem. And if it slows your excited questioning down, then yes please. It took me 10 minutes to scan through it. Although slightly out-of-date it's all factual with no inconsistencies and should be a must-read by anyone considering moving to Riyadh.

Where's your sens of humour Mr Mod :O ... but i appreciate your advice. I did read it though, plenty of things I didn't know about KSA...

For those confused by the numbers, One SAR (Saudi Riyal) is $US3.75.

So they are talking just over $4000 a month for left seat, $2700 for the right. (or did I miss a zero somewhere!)

If no "housing allowance" is provided, you can get a reasonable batchelor apartment for around SAR4000 upwards a month - decent family housing would be a different story! No idea of schooling costs - mine "left the nest" years ago.

I don't have an ATPL, and I still wouldn't get out of bed for that:* (of course, it's tax-free:yuk: )

Looks like good news for SV;)

There are many facets to the NAS operation both in Riyahd and Jeddah. Pay scales vary considerably as do T's and C's. Some positions require the personnel to live in the Kingdom whilst others are on a rotational basis. Per diem is paid on top of salary generally in USD. Do your research thoroughly so you know exactly what you are getting yourself in for as you would with any position. As with all contracts there are good and bad aspects. Decide for yourself. The previously quoted salary figures are well short of the mark from my experience.
:ok:
