NAS Aviation

Hi everyone

I'm a bit confused about this company. I applied for a First Officer position and they sent me an email saying they'd get in touch with me as soon as they have the final dates for the interviews that will be conducted in KL. "

"Rest assured that we will be contacting you thru your email or mobile number/telephone as soon as we have a definite date for the interview schedules."

There's this post on the cabin crew forum in which it is said they'll be having interviews during this week but when i called them a few days ago, the HR Mnager said it will be some time next month.

What am I supposed to believe?

NAS

I think NAS will play both cards to the middle, half of what they say is baloney. Experienced corporate pilots have been applying to these bozo's for months, with NO Response, You cannot rely on these type of company's to say what they mean, and mean what they say. Unless you have a local connection, it will be a busy signal!

Danger

Initial offer is crap -> Capt SR15K+75/hr -> FO SR10K+50/hr, 5mth on/1mth off, bond for A320 5yrs/SR190K, the rest more or less standard and boring. Only a fraction of the T&C's enjoyed by NAS' charter operations further up the sand dune. First 3 months will be Jeddah-Riyadh-Jeddah, then link the other 26 airports in Saudi. No other "international" destinations for the moment. They're just out to make money - out of the pax AND the crew!

15,000 SAR per MONTH to fly a A320??? They have people in ground jobs earning more than that?? SAMA are offering US10,500 per month to fly a B737.

Do they keep up with these promises? I can't count them pilots getting sick of SV because of the bull they go through

Anyways ....

I wonder what's going to happen to NAS if they're unable to meet their recruitment objectives.

Are you talking about US DOLLARS or SAUDI RIYALS?? US$300,000 P.A. is awesome and would certainly solve their crewing problems overnight

Hakeem,
Saudia is a unique enigma, but at the end of the day look at the threads in this forum about the other ME airlines, utopia doesnt exist!

Housing originally proposed to be supplied, but now just a "get you started" allowance of 3x your basic. Transport originally to be provided, now a SR500/mth and find your own bicycle. Expat/Repat: free ticket each way from "home" (and 2 times per year during contract) for you and after 3 months your spouse and 2 kids (only). USD1000 if single, USD2000 if married to help you get there and 150kg freight allowance for singles, 300kg if married. (I'm going ny memory, don't think there was anything else coz I lost my notes, and basically, don't care)

Requirements: must be prepared to obtain a FAA ATP. CPT 5000TT 3000Jet 2500JetP1 500A320(if rated) FO 3000TT 2000Jet 500A320(if rated).
