EK Accomodation Available For Rent?
Heard a rumor that EK Company Accomodation now available to rent for the guys and gals across the apron? |
It is not a rumor , they have been asked if they are interested in renting a villa from Emirates going from 155.000 to 185.000 Dhrs depending on the location !!!
|
Wonder if they are offering the villas at DSO that they just kicked everyone out of?? Wouldn't that be just like the beloved management...
|
The options available are Al Fujran(155k/yr), Meydan South(175k/yr) and Jumeirah(185k/yr)
The FOs housing allowance is 151,200AED/yr and Capt's housing is 180k/yr. |
They really are completely out of touch with reality. There’s absolutely no hope... |

The FOs housing allowance is 151,200AED/yr and Capt's housing is 180k/yr. However the rental values they are demanding are massively inflated compared to what the market is asking. Especially when you consider the quality/location specifically Meydan South. Just have a look at whats on the market regarding four bed villas in areas such as Arabian Ranches 2, Mudon, Akoya, etc all brand new villas, all detached from EK and all within the same asking price but for a much better product. Someone needs to separate the fantasy from reality in HQ. |
They are talking about Flydubai…
This is what is on offer to the Flydubai pilots should they wish to rent a villa in those places via Emirates |
Ek housing allowance is 172k for FO and 192k for capt per year |
So, Fly Dubai crews can get a housing allowance, but only if they rent from EK at an inflated price. Do I have that right? |
No, they've always had housing allowance. EK is now allowing them to rent from them, as you correctly stated, at inflated prices. Can't see why anyone would go for it.
|
They just try to take the money they gave to the crew with one hand with the other… Very smart
|
A little off topic but can you guys confirm if new joiners have the option of not entering company accommodation and taking a housing allowance?
