Qatar Airways

Loads to say mostly bad worked for long enough as groundstaff and Cabin crew one was worse than the other Still in touch with loads of friends who still work there and still keep hearing horrible things about what AAb does to Cabin crew and other staff.
Get a load of this AAb apparently told a friend of mine "i can get what ever i want if and when i want " and then smiles at her and walks past leaving her to nearly faint not to mention shes a cabin crew and has special rosters...need i say more????? Nothing new!!!!!!!!
Thats QR for you and still i wonder why people leave such good jobs to bother with Qr and its sick management...

aab recently gave a tour of the airline to a highly regarded consultant from the UK.
His comments as walking on board an A300 pre departure was "watch the fear of the crew when I enter the aircraft".
The consultant who leaked the comment on to certain UK authorities said that he was appauled by the comment.
The consultant was there under part 14B of Star Alliance requirements.
The consultant said that he did not wish to continue with the appraisal with the company based on several comments of similar nature.
aab said that he was easily replaced and that the conultant had never worked in this part of the world and should not pass judgement.
However it did not impress certain figures who were interested in the report, and that a review may be taken in a further 6 months.

I agree it requires a diferent style of management here in the Middle East but I hope he does not hold back the progress of the company.

The full article is available in the business review pages in London, dated 19 July.

Just recieved an additional article in ref to the above.
Of 177 airlines surveyed QR came in 6th for highest turnover of expat staff.
The top 5 were all charter companies.
I believe this does not say much but when EK came in 156th there may be something there.
Also this was based on total expat staff numbers not just aircrew.
I enjoy life here so I dont know whether it is location or not.
The survey will be published in next months flight international.
(Sept issue)
There are other interesting facts in it.
QR listed as 4th fastest growing airline however one of the least profitable. (actually expected loss)
Very high on dispatch reliability.

Sorry if I misunderstood. What is the name of the publication that published the report? and is it specifically on Qatar Airways or on several airlines?
