You need a type-rating as a minimum. If you don't have a 320 or a 767 rating then don't waste any more time dreaming.
If you do have the rating then 500+ on type will probably suffice. I don't know of any specific minimum.

Well I don’t know their minimum but they contact me a week ago just to know if I’m still interesting to have an interview with them.
I don’t have any type rating of the aircraft that they fly.
Good luck to everybody specially in this hard moments.

yeha, I'd like to find out those req's too.
you guys know of an outfit called Eagle Jet Intl. in USA....they offer training, ratings and hour on a/c such as a320, b737, b747 etc.....for a nice price , I should add.
Would this be a bonus for your application if you approach Gulf Air or anybody else that operated these types with 100 - 250 hour TOT ?
Does the possibility of getting hired justify the expense?

Skaz, all expats I have seen here seem to have at least a type rating, and 500hrs time on type..not sure how firm a requirement that is...keep bombarding them with CV's and even offer to fly yourself to Bahrain (looks like your keen)..interviews seem to be conducted by fleet, so if you're qualified on different types operated by GF, it may help to contact the specific fleet CP when applying...
