John Ross
Regret to announce that John Ross passed away last week. I believe the funeral was held today.
John worked for GF from the early 70's until the late 80's. Prior to that he served with the Abu Dhabi Defence Force for a while on retiring fom the RAF.
I had the pleasure of being trained by him as a very 'wet behind the ears' F/O on the F27 and later as a young captain on the TriStar. His sense of humour was probably more arid than the Rub al'Khali!
One of the best guys I ever had the pleasure to fly with.
