I am a happy man. I will be joining EK in May, signed the contract last week.
Is there anybody who reads this forum and who is also joining in May? If so, we might get to know eachother allready before we get there. If you send a private message with your email, I'll get in touch.

Hi Happy Man, do you mind if I ask a few questions?
-When was your interview?
-When did you send in your medical stuff?
-How long between sending your medical and hearing back from EK?

I did my interview end October. After about 6 weeks I was asked to continue with the pre-medical. I needed about two weeks to complete it. After another week or two, I received the message that all documents were cleared. A few weeks later I was given a start date and sent a contract. All in all, three months after the interview I had the date.

thanks twieke, I got an email at the end of January stating they got all the medical stuff ok, and they would be back to me soon.
Can't be soon enough, I've had enough of shoveling snow......

Yes it is!!How are you? How is the missus?How is the relocation prepartion going?
I've got a course date of around 12th May on the A330.I was told that I am down for the Airbus course starting on that date but could be put on the B777 due to operational requirements. I would prefer to fly the A330 eventhough I'm heavy Boeing experienced as it's coming to MAN twice daily from June so I can get plenty of free trips home.Email me privately to my hotmail address with your joining itinery.Maybe we can make a start on the celebratary beer quaffing!!!

I'm a little discouraged.......interviewed in Oct. 02 and have been given a date of late July. Twieke, you and Pontious will be old hands by the time we get together again. Sure would like to have the big picture but for now I'm just going with the (slow) flow.
