Qr Cabin Crew Hit By A Car When Crossing The Road After A Flight

A SYRIAN CABIN CREW NAME BUSHRA,WAS HIT BY A CAR WHEN SHE WAS CROSSING THE ROAD BETWEEN THE FLIGHT OPS AND THE CAR PARK AFTER COMING FROM A NIGHT FLIGHT.
BUSHRA IS ONE OF THE NICEST GIRL THAT YOU CAN FLY WITH, SHE IS IN A CRITICAL CONDITION, OUR HEART AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH HER AND HER FAMILY

I am sad to hear about this. Maybe now AAB will realise that crew need to have proper parking space. However the additional riyals just to go up to the roundabout and come back makes it easier to get out a taxi opposite OPS.

Regardless, this is very sad and thoughts got to Bushara and her family.

AAB wake up!

Bushra

Bushra is a nice girl. Hope she gets well soon and makes a full recovery.

Comments made by Taba regarding parking are true.

Akbar al Baker - do something now!!!! Your stupid rules which forbid that girls cannot be collected from the ops buildings by their friends and boyfriends is totally silly.

There is no adequate parking for crew members.

It shouldnt take a serious accident like this to make everyone waken up and see the dangers.

Crew aftera long flight should not be expected to cross a very busy road such as Al Matar and expect to get to the other side safely. Remember that everyone is tired and exhausted after a long flight.

Hope Bushra is OK.

The way they drive in Doha this comes as no surprise. The police really should crack down on the speeders, people who refuse to use their indicators, those that insist on driving around with their foglights on ... oh yes, and a Doha favorite, parking on roundabouts.

Oh my God! I can't believe this!!! Boshra was my housmate and good friend for all the time I was in QR. We never lost touch. I've been trying to call her for the past couple of days and couldn't find her. I am shocked!

I'll try to call her family. If I'll be able to get in touch with them. I'll let you know.

Apparently what happened was that she was trying to cross the road from the Technical Building to get to her car after a night flight. Obviously in the Technical Building there aren't enough parking places. But shouldn't the company at least ask for a traffic light to be placed outside the gate?

Anyway, doctors were waiting for the first critical 48 hours to go by and since her condition was stable, she had a major operation on her leg today. I don't know how that went because it's not finished yet.

They told me she's under heavy medication at the moment so it's impossible to communicate with her. Good news is that everybody's optimistic about her condition. Thank God!
