Emirates, a second interview

A few months ago I attended an Emirates pilot interview after spending approx. seven months in the hold pool. Unfortunately a few days before I left for Dubai, a close member of my family was taken seriously ill. I went for the interview, however only my body was present since my mind was thousands of miles away. A couple of weeks afterwards I received, as expected, that I did not pass my interview. A few days ago I visited the emirates careers website and found out that my pilot application was still there and so decided to update it. I received an acknowledgement stating that my application is under review.

I am aware that what I am about to ask is unfair on those of you who have been on hold for many months. Have Emirates ever called somebody who had previously failed an interview for a second interview? Thanks
