Hi all. A quick question for those that have started the process with Riyadh.
Regarding the online interview and remote video and testing etc, would an Apple iPad be good enough to complete these tasks, or is a laptop required?
Thanks heaps. 🙏

Hi Everyone,
I have the technical interview for Riyadh Air coming up in a few days.
Can someone please provide some information on what to expect?
Also, if anyone has already been offered a position and has moved over there, can I get some idea or information of what its like living in Riyadh and the overall conditions.
I'm currently based in Australia but seriously considering the move for 5-10 years.
Thank you!

How assessment is scored:
So basically the 15 min online assessment is pure AI selection, they told me in a week or so I’m going to get my test results via email and the recruit team is going to get in touch with me afterwards.

AI 15 min test
I just received a mail from the Maki management asking why I rated this test 3 stars only, I explained them that this test is not appropriate to screen a professional pilot because it’s not structured properly, it’s too short, timers are too fast, they don’t give you the proper time to really express yourself because you’re more focused on the timer than the content you’re about to give, ATPL questions are more appropriate for a cadet but ok. My guess is that they’re trying to go 100% digital but in the wrong area of the selection progress, if you assess a professional seasoned captain this way, you risk losing him/her for no reason, it will backfire on you most probably, anyways, let’s all wait for the result, then we can give a proper review after all, meanwhile, good luck to you all.

Hi, I completed mine already over 2 weeks ago, this is what I had and already posted in this topic:
1) Personality Traits Motivation, 6 minutes.
2) Technical ATPL Knowledge 3 minutes.
3) English Speaking Assessment, 6 minutes
It was very similar to what you can find on pilotassessments.com/riyadh-air-pilot-assessment/
Two questions are asking regarding your motivation and the 5 ATPL questions were very basic in my case.
The last activity is one personal question that is used to check your English speaking.
You can record the interview questions two times before submitting your video.
Good luck all!
