Staying in DXB

Hi there

Well I have a few days Off in November and would like to spend some time in the UAE.
Anyone can recommend a place to stay offering the best discounts for aircrew (independant company though), preferably in DXB.
Many thanks for your tips and suggestions.

And thanks again as I have just received a few emails from various hotels I have contacted about airlines staffs discounts.

Dunno if that's ok to publish it but the Oasis Beach quoted between £38 and £48 per room per night (depending if your want the superior sea view or not !!).
The Lords hotel for.... £25 Per nigth !

Job hunting starting well then (officially holidays for the missus

Post beware Ramadan

Amex, please remember that Ramadan is from approx 5/11-4/12 this year. There will be some restrictions, but alcohol will still be served in your hotel!! Best time to be there is end of Ramadan during the Eid al Fitr festival, when there will be more shopping bargains.

Cool

Wasn't too sure when the Ramadan was, thanks for the infos.
I have actually already booked my leave with the company and chosen to go to the Hilton Jumeirah (£38per night!!!).
Apart from drinking alcohol (which doesn't seem to be a problem anyway), is there anything worth knowing ?)

For those who are thinking of going at some stage but who don't enjoy ID90, I searched with ITIC online and found a return ticket for £112 (+Tax) from LHR via Sofia with Balkan !!
