Opportunities for low timers?
G'day all,
Just wondering if there are any opportunities for relatively low time pilots (2,300TT, 1,500 Multi P1, piston only) Ie is a conversion required (from Australian/ICAO ATPL), and a turbine rating, before one would get a foot in the door?
Any advice appreciated.

hey boomerang
All the majors..EK,GF,QR ..etc need some if not a lot of jet experience and widebody experience before u can even get your foot in the door. With your kind of experience , the best bet would be the courier operators in the middle east ,i.e,
DHL middle east based in bahrain ...they fly metro23's and convair's(dunno their min.requirements though)
Falcon express cargo airlines(300 hrs me and a B1900 type rating minimum required bfor they'll look at your CV)
If you've got instructional experience, there are a few flying schools in the UAE and one in Qatar.U'll have to find out from them on vacancies.
Hope this helps.Best of luck.
