Failed emirates assessment july 2018

Hey guys,
Hope all are fine I have got 3000 hours applied for emirates assessment, the aptitude test wasnt that hard and was prepared well for it, the simulator session wasnt perfect failed to perform my first visual pattern and then performed another trial and wasnt perfect but fine, engine failure was perfect and ils raw data was perfect
After i went back to the hotel they said unfortunately you didn't pass and will send you an email when can you apply again, I never got the email and after one year and 3 months passed I sent them an email to ask when can I apply again and here was there shocking answer
After viewing your file we cant reasses you
Is that normal? I really feel down anyome had the same experience?

EK HR has advised Recruitment Services not to allow previously failed applicant to apply again. I suppose due to the long list of applicant they have at the moment. Once/ If that dries up they may revisit previous applications.

Failing an assessment is never a nice thing - especially when you receive no feedback.

Aviation is a Global Industry and there are no shortage of Airlines looking for crew. Then there is the corporate market as well as specialised operations such as aerial firefighting. Plenty of options.

Plenty of issues at Emirates - just read this forum.

In the future you may look back on this and realise that they did you a favour.

This actually happened to me after they sent an email advising me to apply after 12 calendar months, and I sent them an email a couple of months before the date to ask if there will be a vacant slot at the earliest possible. I got the same exact reply you got, and I certainly think that their mindset changes every couple of months due to the fact they need or don't need pilots. So, don't even bother they might return back to you one day asking you to re-apply. It is always greener on the other side, so don't worry you are just missing out on some made-up glamour.
