Freightworks/AXA
I used Freightworks in my relocation from Dubai. They use AXA insurance for the contents. The process was quite smooth until it came to the claim for damages/breakage. AXA demanded a complete packing list of every box that had a damaged item. You're not provided that detail by Freightworks as the packing list will show, for example, "kitchen items." In my case, that box included multiple items including dishes, cutlery, etc.... AXA demanded proof that a damaged item came from a specific box and proof that item was listed as contents of that box - quite difficult indeed to prove in the flurry of unpacking at the destination end. I can't stress enough how detailed your lists must be. For example, all my electronic remotes were lost in the move. There was no compensation for any of them as my Freightworks packing list showed TV, stereo, Blu ray player etc. As I found out, it should have been listed as TV plus remote etc....
It was made very clear after the fact no claim can be made for an item that isn't specifically listed (makes sense). Just be prepared for this and demand very detailed packing lists from Freightworks. After 4 months of discussions with Freightworks and AXA, my receipted repairs for broken furniture was refunded at 50% of the cost and 0% for the non listed items on the packing list (despite them being on the insurance list.) During this process my contact at Freightworks was Seahn - she was less than helpful and suggested I should be happy with any reimbursement from AXA.
