Why would they be glad ? EK need pilots and 2000 hr easy jet recruits would be welcome I think . Some arrangement by BT and his previous lcc employer perhaps .Imo the fewer pilots that join, due to poor terms and conditions, the better. I have to agree. If EK gets plenty of pilots of the current terms, why would they change anything? Its supply and demand, they are keeping a lid on the T&C and testing the water, unfortunately no one is reading the test results

I have heard similar developments with MPL cadet pilots.

Qatar are sending theirs to air Malta to get hands on and virgin are sending theirs to easy. The latter with a rather low virgin cadet salary paid for by virgin. It’s a win win for easyJet!
