Has ME lost its sheen forever?

We all came to ME with lots of goals and ambitions. Seems like its not going to get any better in the future and gone are those glory days.

Low oil prices, allegations by US carriers, lack of freedom and rights, escalating political issues in the region, poor treatment by management etc.

To add, a recent announcement at neighbour(unmentionable) to all pilots, leave without pay !!!

Unpaid leave in UAE may be granted by the employer if requested by the employee. It cannot legally be imposed or even offered by the employer under UAE Labour Laws ....... except of course when the employer is a Govt. entity - when they can do whatever they like - with impunity.

Sympathy if you are being shafted.

And f course they're only a government entity when it's convenient.

As soon as govt entities have to provide X or Y benefit to the employees.... 'sorry, we're a private company!'

they really have mastered that one.

They wanted to compete with the 2 big neighbours airlines but they were not experienced and strong enough.
It is a tough game where only the strongest survive. Now sit down lads and watch the big guys playing the game.It will never be the same again down sz road....what goes around comes around now and ever
