EASA part 66 B1 Help

Dear Readers,
I carry a BSc in Aerospace Engineering and in addition to this degree and for many diff reasons I am attempting to get my license as an added value in the aviation field..I wish to ask if having a university degree will have any difference on the 5 years experience needed to get the B1. I have 1 year in Base Maintenance and now working in Line Maintenance!! Your help is much appreciated!

You'd be better posting this on the "Engineers and Technicians" forum- just scroll down the list of forums on the home page. It is near the bottom.
