EK bid system parameters

Rules and parameters for the CRS bid system have now been published.

Max days off before and after vacation "variable", does this mean the restriction has been lifted?

some points to note,

Look at the rule numbers.... I see #501 there lol
So, to fly east you need to go 2 hours away from DXB but to fly west you need to go 5 hours away from DXB... meaning all of Europe is not west... thats convenient for them
These rules are only targets and can be bent/broken
There is no latest finish before VA so that would be 23:59
The new target is 95 hours.

Well they are missing the new target in a spectacular fashion. The only way people are doing under 95 hours is if they have more than a week of leave. Less than a week you still do 95 hours!

It's what they are aiming for Geordie. They haven't got there yet. It's like us looking for that bar with free beer. Only we are closer to achieving that our aim.

I know it is only a loose "target" but the target does keep creeping up- it was 85 not that long ago and I still remember a couple of years back when they were taking people off flights to avoid paying them overtime. There is definitely a trend and it is going the wrong way. The hours certainly aren't coming down.
