Congratulations on passing . I went for the assessment on 1st and 2 nd of Dec and still swimming in the pool. Boeing 737 type rated with 2000 hours on type and 3 month notice perod. From what I have heard there are still quite a few quys on the Boeing list so looks like we need to be patient for a few more weeks/months .

Boeing

Hello everyone,

I attended the interview in Jan and been in the pool since 1st Feb. I've heard it takes 2-3 months to get out of the talent pool. I wish we all stop swimming and start fyling soon.

I am a FO, B737 with 1500hrs.

Wish you all the best.

Change Date Of Join

Guys,

when you get a DOJ, how flexible are they about it? Do they expect that you meet the date or is it possible to postpone it to a month that suits you better?

I passed the interview late September and have been in the pool since then. Still no news.

Some candidates interviewed later already got a job offer. AFAIK, it depends on factors like your experience, if Type Rated or not and your notice period.

I have almost same experience as yours, also B737 FO.

Good luck to all of us!

Hi to all, just joined u guys in the pool few days ago. Airbus FO. Read all the post here, seems it s quite frustrating to wait for the DOJ. I just wonder, if I got the notice saying I m joining pool, would it mean that I will be offered a position anyway, just a matter of how long I have to wait? Would this offer be terminated and Should I re-apply for the position again after waiting for certain period of time? Anyway, good luck to u all! Hope everyone can get the notice of DOJ soon!

Hi dalmus,

Welcome. As far as I know your assesment is valid for 1 year only. If they can not offer a job for you within a year you have to do everything from the begining. Of course not so sure when this "one year" starts and finishes. Best of luck!

Hi everyone,

I passed the assessment in mid-November and am still in the pool (A320 rated, 3 months notice). Hopefully we'll all get our joining date soon

Thx for the info, I got the same answer from QR. if I am not offered anything within one year, that means my application is withdrew, it seems that passing the screening doesn't mean that I got the job... sigh...

Anyone here has this kind of experience, Didn't hear anything from the company and have to do everything again? How big is the probability?

Chill down mate. I have not heard of any case where someone was kicked out of the pool after 1 year . I guess the 1 year validity is only for planning purposes and 2 years ago they extended it from 12-18 month and also keep in mind that they are still recruiting people.

According to my former colleagues in TM, pool time is 6 months plus at the moment for "Mr Average" some with high scores had DJO but sheer volume means likely to be looked at again after May. Forgot to mention, apart from the DJOs which are given a fleet type, the pool is divided into FO swimmers with more than 2000 hrs (777) and this with less (787).. but its not a hard and fast rule, depends on needs. All DEC on 787

DOJ

My assessment was last 19th and 20th of Jan for the 777. Currently flying 767. Total hours 10.000 but only 700 on a heavy. Received my OK on the 23rd of Jan (3 days after my Sim session), but placed right away in the talent pool. Today 15th of March received my DOJ for this August B777. God speed to all of you.
