IRS and EK Provident Fund

Hi All,

This subject might have been beaten to death in another thread but I can't find it: As a US person and EK employee, do we need to declare our Provident Fund to the IRS ?...or only when we receive it ?

Thanks,

Ax

Hi Axial,
As per Foxton (program manager) they have a FATCA waiver , and they dont report the accounts to IRS, howewver you should not omit the 5% that goes to your account A and whatever if any that goes to account C, you amy send email to foxton and always consult with your tax guy.

Hey TK.,

I'll talk to them and get the full story....appreciate your reply. Interesting about the FATCA waiver. I suppose since its not a Bank account.
