A guy on Radio 2 this morning saying he was a pilot and may be being made redundant??

Yep.. the EK Pilots are just not working hard enough nor are they being productive enough. "Only" 96 hours a month?? Of course they're redundant. EK doesn't need that many pilots. Gotta get that productivity much higher!!!

I heard, that THE ONES DOWN THE ROAD need to give back the Jet Airways aircrafts that they where leasing by a court order as the ban on Indian carrier in the US has been lifted.
This step should take place within the next month or two...
This came as a surprise and now they have too many pilots...

All the Indian pilots who were on deputation to E%(&Ad on the 777 are returning with the aircraft.So don't see how they have excess????

Yes I am bitter towards EK because I thought it would be the last airline I flew with for my distinguished career, but a greedy management team has really ruined it for not only myself but so many others.

They really messed up a good thing... that didn't have to be messed up!

Kapitan, I don't have any problem but I must admit to getting a good laugh out of your posts. There's always entertainment value in seeing how you allow EK to continue to bother you. I think we can safely say they aren't losing any sleep since your departure so who's the loser? It appears they are living rent free in your bitterness and that just makes them laugh at your expense.
