Talking Licence currency

Does anyone have any experience of keeping their CAA licence current/valid while working for EK?
Just wondered whether it would be easier to have a JAA licence as it would seem there are more people able to sign it!

Hi Fish,
I presume(?) that a JAR licence could be signed by a TRE/IRE from any member state, but, maybe it does'nt work that way!
