IFR orientation

been operating into TIBA (Saudi Arabian) airports lately...bearing in mind the VOR is located on the field, I keep hearing transmissions to the effect " established on the 150 radial inbound on final runway 15....seems a bit impossible, and its more than one particular airline...have glass cockpits done these fellows in?

With the amount of new airlines flying into these airports, the new Captains and FO's at SVA, I would say it is an all around issue, not just one airline.
