Never flew together but spent 15 minutes chatting over a coffee several years ago. Left a lasting impression as a genuine, kind and polite man. I'm sure he had many other great qualities too. Very sad news, my thoughts and condolences to his family and to those that knew him well.

Flew with Jim many times on the 310/300 as a brand new F/O in EK many years ago. A better guy to work with one couldn't have wished for. Very sad news. RIP Jim, sincere condolences to Bodil.

Just wanted to add my thoughts what an absolute shock my thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
I am just so great full I made the choice to leave the madness late last year to as someone said live for today and extend my life.
RIP Jim a fantastic guy and true gentleman, I am very sad
