Flydubai Resignations

Heard that Flydubai have lost over 80 cabin crew so far this year and that there is a trickle of pilots (captains included) also off to pastures new.......anyone in the know care to confirm, particularly regarding the pilots and most common reasons for leaving??

Skysod,

If you take the time to read all the information about Flydubai on pprune , you will have your anwser.
You can also read the Emirates one as some reasons are the same associated with working with Middle East management style and the cost of life in Dubaļ always going up while your salary stays almost the same.
To give you an idea the basic salary of a captain in July 2009 was 25480 Dhs and today is 26705 Dhs which means more or less 4,8% increase in 6 years !!!
The other increase is the sector pay which was 150 Dhs/hour and now is 165 Dhs/hour.
So if you fly 850 hours/year the increase is 850x15:12= 1062,5 Dhs/month
Without talking about the inflation rate , my rent only went from 10500 Dhs to 14500 Dhs/month.
The rostering is also a big issue with a lot of night flights switching from day to night and vice-versa all the time
You roster can be modified at their will for example I had a small flight scheduled to finish at 12h00 and they added ( after the roster was published and without asking me of course ) another flight so my day now finishes at 18h30.
Etc...
