Women!
Quick question for those of you on the ground in the mid east - which airlines have a friendly policy towards employing female flightdeck crew? I'd particularly like to find out about EK and GF ( I presume Saudi is a no go? )

Hello,
Qatar Airwyas is the only airline in the Gulf with female flightdeck crew. I think they have at least 1 now and thier are 3 or 4 who will finish training soon.

hey ........... Qatar Airways has two female first officers and they are flying on the A300 fleet.............. they are very open to hiring women pilots for a middle east airline ............. a very nice thing to see in todays world of equal oppurtunities ............... but i think at the present time yu have to be type rated on either the a320 or the A300-600 / A310

Qatar Female Flight Deck Crew
Qatar Airways are recruiting FD crew now, and as MT Qatar said, already have 2 female FO's.
You MUST be type rated on either A300 / A320 / A310 or A330. A330 fleet will expand rapidly, so vacancies arise downfleet on the A300, as conversions in-hosue are likely.

madam there are a bout 7 female under training in qatar aviation colleage they will join us soon ,u are welcome to the most safest place on earth right now <qatar> u will be welcome here and u will like since we still have the german lady for 2 years now
