Sharks
I have been in the middle east for over17 years. So far every financial adviser, wealth manager etc have all been sharks with no morals, scruples or conscience. Every one is only after making their sales targets and really is just a parasite of your hard earned wealth. They all say they are different but that is just sh1t. They are all the same. Look after your own money and don't pay them to screw you over. I arrived with nothing saved with 4 different financial advisers who shafted ever penny out of me. Started managing my own money ten years ago and tripled my net worth.

I was a pilot in the Middle East 1974 to retirement age in 2000.
In 1984 a financial advisor named Peter Metcalf introduced me to Perpetual
a small investment company based in Henly on Thames UK.
Monthly investment in the UK stockmarket via Perpetual unit trusts has funded my retirement.
Today called Invesco Perpetual... their products and their investment performance continues to work for me.
Possibly they still have a channel island office and offshore based funds for expats of various nationalities....worth checking out if you tend to worry like I did about the monthly salary stoping.
