AMEs No Longer Allowed to do EASA Medicals at EK Clinic??
I booked a GCAA medical at the EK clinic and as usual, asked for a doc that could also do the EASA medical only to be told by the receptionist that they 'no longer did this' even though they still have AMEs that are qualified!! Has anybody else experienced this or am I just being given duff info?

Tried booking any medical appointment recently? There's your answer.
The reality is, the clinic has to meet the company needs first.
I get it, just as long as the higher echelons understand the definition of 'erosion'. Pilots, doctors, engineers, cabin crew, we're all affected by it.
We're hired for our licences, fact. The ability to preserve my global professional capability is one of my 'needs'. I will find another way, it won't be easy but anything that makes life less easy, will be a factor in how and where I choose to live my life in the future.
