The War! Bin Ladin and his groupies seem to be building momentum i.e (Pakistan bombing)
The U.S eying off Iraq, Afghanistan, Palistine and Israel. The uncertainty of safety in the Middle East. How do you stop suicide bombers when giving up their life (for the cause) is an honour?

I suppose moving back home seems the safest bet.

St S, you are right; average turnover for cockpit crew is 5 pilots per year. Eek, where will it all end, in 120 years everyone will have left.

Mind you if all the Ozzies do go back to Oz at least the airline will be a quieter place. The aircraft will actually stop whining when the engines are turned off.

Only bantering

Good to see nothing changes when you guys aren't in the cockpit!

To answer your question, alot of ozzie flight attendents come here for a year and find out that this isn't quite what lifes about and decide to leave. Yes some did actually get jobs with virgin blue even pilots have apparently. But the turn over of hostees is normal thats why they continously recruit. Safety wise nothing to worry about.
