Jet Simulator in Dubai?
Anyone know of any outfit where one can rent some reasonably cheap simulator time (not CAE--too expensive). It can be a generic type (FRASCA-Jet) etc. This is mainly to regaining instrument scan and currency. No motion required. Thanks

fixed base sim at Dubai Mall (top floor near the cinema entrance) no idea on prices but i'm sure u can negotiate something during the mall "off-peak" hrs. good luck.

I have flown this, its not very good, handles nothing like the proper sims, there is no (elevator feel) its all a bit loose.
prices are 1,000 AED per hour and they wont negotiate.
in terms of procedures and IF its not to bad, all the auto pilots work as per the real thing.
the instructor I had was a PPL but he seemed to know quite a lot about the 737, he didn't give much respect to myself even though I fly the real thing, turned in to a knowledge battle which is not what I turned up for. anyho in my opinion your better of on FSX than paying these guys.
