if you want a month off , just ask ! they happily give months leave without pay! try getting that easily anywhere else.
by the way the leave that is offered in the 80 hour mode
is credited to your overtime threshold. ie if you took 20 days in one month
your OT threshold drops by about 2/3 rds
as bb said this gig is not for everyone ... and in fact
personally I don't want everyone ... as the only happy pilot
appears to be a whinging pilot ...
for the right guys , this is a reasonable proposition
... but things could change and I could be doing interviews n stuff
at another outfit too down the track ..." life is full of risks my friend

I think all the queries stated in this thread have been already addressed by woodja and others in the Asian forum. Any doubts will surely be cleared by him...and believe you me, everything he said was spot on.....overall CSA is a very good contract if you don't mind the "contract" part. If you want to go back to Oz it's worth looking into it...

Seriously? You are management or just speaking for management? Is that in the contract? If it's not expressly written in the contract that you can take a month off without pay whenever you like then you are making quite a misleading claim.

They must be dreaming with that kind of pay, etc .........With the conditions and treatment of foreign Pilots by so called Korean Instructors (Better than test Pilots).
