Emirates direct entry A380 F/Os
I have 3700 A320/A330 hours and an ATPL (still flying a330) .According to the EK site I am eligible directly onto A380 F/O ?
Are they offering sim assessments from the Gatwick roadshow ? Thanks

You can pass your details on at the roadshow but as far as I'm aware there are no sim assessments on site (unless things have changed recently).
Just be aware an offer of DEFO on the A380 isn't necessarily guaranteed. Things can change according to requirements and you could be placed on whichever fleet you are needed on at that particular time.
If you come here do it for the right reasons not simply because of type, otherwise you may be disappointed. And come here with an open mind without any presumptions or unrealistic expectations on what you may read on Pprune... it makes the adjustment A LOT easier!

Thanks
Thanks Mr Good Cat / Payscale
Im actually happy to keep flying the 330. The 380 would be a huge bonus. .Do you know if they will be running sims or PSPs overseas for direct A380 or is it all done in Dubai?
Thanks again

The SIMs are done in DXB. The A380 is great to fly. But don't come for the airplane. Come if you like the lifestyle/weather/money/career prospects. Its all a weighed decision. You wont like it all and you hopefully wont dislike it all either. Best thing is to come to Dubai and see the place. Hang out with come pilots and ask them. Most tend to be positive.
Good luck

I agree, not EK but UAE based
I came for 1 week to deliver an aircraft.....
7 years later not left yet.
Perhaps DXB attracts the messed up types, and I am certainly messed up.
Come with an open mind, and enjoy the "culture", that is the culture behind SZR...get an off road car, and USE IT.
I promise you will have an experience, that hope will be positive.
