EK Bidding

Does anyone know how to bid to avoid the All-Nighters at EK?
Management in their infinite wisdom took away a lot of the categories for bidding next month. Why they did this I have no idea? Management being the tossers' that they are.
Now if someone is top bid and bids Europe they might get the night flights back from Europe instead of the daylight flights. I guess we have to bid each flight individually.

So can we expect the 380 to do New Castle and Glasgow before next month's bid close?

Exclamation Emails required!

Watch this space! Bidding options reduced to the point that rosters are handed out to you. 'Here you go'. O, by the way, yes, if you don't like it leave! I know!
However,
Guys and gals, PLEASE email J Alsford your displeasure. The effect will be nil no doubt but are we just going to take this?? At least register disagreement with the constant erosion of our bidding and roster options rapidly approaching the point where we will have NO preferential bidding system!
Watch this space!

well, the 777 guys don't have to bid for MRU anymore, that should make the bidding easier

So, according to you, the new bidding rules make it only possible to bid for a flight when it's done twice daily by the same fleet?

If ek gets the new 777x (probably in 6-7years) or whatever they will fly the better routes again for sure and not the 380, by then the 380 is already too old... It will always fluctuate depending on which a/c is "in" or demanded by pax.

Speaking of tossers, looks like whitey's ban is finished.

Add 'Tosser' to the list of dick, management, chief pilot, trainer, pom, blah blah blah. I feel honoured

I doubt it. The 77x - a very fine machine but I'm sure is still 'old hat' in TCs eyes. The 380 is his baby. END of STORY. I've met many senior 777 guys throwing their 'lot' in with the BigBus recently. Writing on the wall and all that
