so true
However well the hotel clean they cannot remove the previous guests "guests".
Plenty of sanitising fluid wipes, or even dispensers in each room, would help.
I stayed in a 5 star hotel recently, and bitten by bed bugs, the hotel disputed this until provided with several examples on sticky tape for them to study.
Sheets are washed after every guest, but comforters only every few months...
TIP: remove comforter, and keep away from bed.

Geezuz used to be the main risk one worried about in a downroute hotel room was picking up an STD or having a young visitor answer the phone when the missus rings. Take yer shots and quit worrying.
As far as the CRC, pretty sure the germs died of overpopulation long ago. You're at far more risk traversing Y class - aka the flying emphysema/typhoid unit - than you are in those bunks.
