Question for Dubai ATC

Hi folks

Hopefully I'm posting this in the correct place.

We're bringing an aircraft to Al Maktoum next week.

Normally if we're going to DXB, we arrive with a stack of fuel, expecting to hold for a while.

Going to DWC, I'd appreciate any advice on likely scenarios in the area. Can we expect the normal scenario of sometimes lengthy holds, or are we routed away from the DXB traffic and (hopefully) therefore more likely to avoid holding.

I was there last week coming from the Karachi and it was fantastic, however this time we're coming from Europe.

Appreciate any advice

Many thanks in advance.

Shouldn't be much different from your previous flight...but also depends on what time you get here!

99% of the time there are no delays for the DWC traffic, the guys and gals at the centre usually take them around the hotspots (but that also depends on their workload at the time). We usually get them in south of the gates for DWC if either DESDI or BUBIN are becoming parking lots.

Personally, I wouldn't be too worried about holding with the rest......but anything is possible
