I feel extremely cheated when flying on what is supposed to be the most modern, largest thing since sliced bread. Might as well be in a 319. Sad but true
I've never sat in economy I.R.Pirate so I'll take your word for it..!

Is some clown really going to start a topic every time an Airbus or Boeing goes tech?
I agree to some extent.
The company however sort of accentuated this by remaining silent for too long. We all want to know what happens out there on our fleets.

However, they started to put on some short notice of recent events on the weekly safety bulletins.
That's great, credit to them when it is due. It takes out some speculation and rumours.

On the other hand it's a low on the set-up and amusement factor, less squealing by Britneyex380 and Katievfenext ....

Yes, I suppose it's best to have as many as possible when they fail as regularly as they have been.

Emirates Airbus A380 forced to make emergency landing, passengers say engine caught on fire - CBS News

I'm starting to lose count. How many years has this "new" design been in service? Four?

Getting wound up about GE powered 777 v EA powered 380 engine issues is in many ways redundant because they both share the GE90 core.

Nonetheless, it is funny to see how wound up some guys get whenever either the 777 or 380 has a problem.
