QR training bond question

QR training bond question
I am about to join QR however I have concerns about the recent hight training failures.
I understand that there is a bond that new joiners have to sign, which makes me unsure if I want to commit to. The bond makes total sense from the company's point of view, to protect itself from people leaving right after the training with type ratings.
Now, back to the training failures. After signing the bond, if the pilot fails the training and the company terminates the pilot, is he/she responsible for the bond?
What if the pilot is not able to pay the bond after involuntary termination?

In the event you don't make it, your bond is voided.
If you will allow a former employee who managed to get out with out being fired offer a piece of advice, don't go to Qatar unless you have no where else to go. All thought there are some great people at Qatar Airways but make Qatar your last option.
The reason for the high failure rate is due to the fear culture created and propagated by the Qatar CEO who enjoys firing people, compounded by a number of poor instructors at Qatar. They have one guy on the A320 who is known at the hatchet or ax and he is proud of his name. The training department supports him.
This does not imply all instructors are like this, there are many really good guys, but on the off change you get stuck with this guy or one like him your done. When you encounter problems with one of the poor instructors you will have a tip to management to explain "your problems". As a professional, you will cooperate to graduate and hope to return to the line.
This is where you will be put on hold for a few days to a week only to find out you have been fired and told to leave in the next few days.
Leaving Qatar is more difficult that one would think. You have to realize you area a prisoner in Qatar as you require to possess an exit visa issued by your employer to depart. This is considerably more complicated than it sounds. I'll spar you the details at this time.
This is only a snap shot of the many many problems with Qatar and Qatar Airways. There are many more.
Don't go to Qatar unless you have no other choices. Qatar has a higher than average dismissal rate in all areas. You are never secure at Qatar, no matter how you do your job, you are always at risk at Qatar Airways. At Qatar Airways is where every check-ride and everyday could be your last.
There are many better places to work and live. Do yourself and your family a favor, don't!

Thank you MNOP for the info. At least I am less worry about the bond.
However the exit visa is something that showed up on the horizon.
Is it serious? Having western passport should not be an issue to leave, unless I am wrong.
Is it safe to say that as long and a person doesn't have any unpaid loans, leases, credit card bills and as long as the bond is voided then he/she shall not have problems to leave Qatar?
Gosh, I hope I still have time to think about it.

Exit permit is for everybody..regardless of your passeport.
We ,pilots, have the ""privilege""
of being allowed to apply for a multi exit permit(valid one year, 500qr 
,unlimited number of exit), but can be blocked anytime if you mess around here in Doha.
The funny thing is that if you resign, you will have to pay to cancel your multi exit permit as well!
Another option is to apply for a single exit permit( free),every time you want to leave.( valid for one exit only).
Note: only you, do need an exit permit (single or multi),your family doesn't.
And if you resign( are terminated), yes make sure you clear all your debts,loans,credits..otherwise you won't be able to leave,and you will be stuck here without job/revenue...till you clear all your mess.
